I recently filled out the profile page for new members and I went to the typical list of countries for possible places of residence. Lo and behold the only other country allowed is Canada. Apparently no one is supposed to be living outside U.S. borders unless it is Canada. I thought that maybe proximity was a criterion but then I saw that Mexico was not there. I suppose the problem has never arisen although I find it hard to believe that in the hundreds of alumni not one is living outside the U.S. Oh, well I guess I am the odd one having chosen Portugal as my place of residence.
